🏗️ Hackathon Phase (Current Focus)

We are currently executing a fast-paced development sprint to deliver the LegacyVault MVP on Arbitrum Sepolia.

Foundation (Week 1)

Focus: Smart Contracts & Stylus Architecture

• Rust Vault Logic: Develop core vault-logic (Ping, Claim, Timer) using Stylus SDK.

• Solidity Factory: Implement VaultFactory.sol with EIP-1167 pattern for cheap deployment.

• Lending Pool Math: Develop iterative compound interest algorithm in Rust (lib.rs).

• Mock Environment: Deploy MockUSDC for testnet asset simulation.

Integration & Testing (Week 2 - Current)

Focus: Frontend Connection & Security

• Frontend Integration: Connect Next.js with Rust contracts using exported ABIs.

• Dashboard UI: Finalize "Owner View" (Ping/Deposit) and "Beneficiary View" (Claim).

• Unit Testing: Ensure safe_days logic and interest calculations are 100% accurate across various time scenarios.

• Deployment: Verify final contracts on Arbitrum Sepolia Explorer.

User Experience (Week 3)

Focus: Polishing & Documentation

• Life Simulation: Create a demo feature in UI to speed up time (time-travel) for death and claim simulation.

• User Guide: Complete documentation on how to create a Vault and add a Beneficiary.

🛤️ Long-Term Roadmap

Q2 2025: Security & Mainnet Preparation

• Smart Contract Audit: Submit Rust & Solidity code for external audit (Focus on Rust memory safety and Factory access control).

• Keepers Integration: Integrate Chainlink Automation to remind users to "Ping" via email/notification before time runs out.

• Beta Launch: Launch on Arbitrum One (Mainnet) with capped deposit limits (Whitelisted users).

Q3 2025: Ecosystem & Advanced Features

• Multi-Asset Support: Support other popular tokens (WBTC, WETH, ARB) within the Lending Pool.

• Social Recovery: Add social recovery options (multisig) if private keys are lost before passing away.

• Legal Integration: Partner with digital notary services to provide legal validity to LegacyVault settings.
